Hiatus

I am sorry, but my WoW blog is now on hiatus as I am on hiatus from the game. I am currently helping my mother tend to my grandmother as she is now in the final stages of cancer. When this is over, I will return to this blog and WoW.

Okay, so I have alts

I think most players that have an 80 on WoW have an alt or two (I sure as hell do). In fact, I think it's good to have an alt. Sure you aren't on your main as much, but that's the fun. Variety is the spice of life after all. And I love my spices. I have my priest, my death knight, my paladin, and m shaman who I have chosen to make my next 80. I believe in alts for the simple fact you can do something different and that is never boring. And who knows, I have become so fond of my shaman it may become my main. Who knows? If you have an alt story, feel free to post it up in my comments.

Of Ganking...

I hate to gank. I do not play WoW to PvP. I have nothing against it, but I have no talent for it. Nevertheless, I play on a PvP server and I deal with it. I follow a simple rule when it comes to that thing: You leave me alone and I leave you alone. This works 90% of the time, but there's always that one time. That one asswipe who is 10+ levels above you and decides to kill you just for the hell of it. Then it is on, bitch. I am lucky, I have two 80's, a priest and a death knight, and my death knight makes up for my lack of PvP. So I hunted down every ally I could find in Tanaris after being ganked three times, twice by a death knight that was level 75. Normally I just roll with it, but today I was just angry. I made them sorry. Do remember when you gank, some of those lowbies happen to have mains that can kick your ass.

Be kind and courteous

This morning, my guildie Tooth brought up an important point I'd like to touch on. He was playing a friend's priest and a BoE (Bind on Equip) blue dropped. It was better than what the priest had, so he rolled a need on it. After he won this item, one member of the group started to QQ (bitch) in great zeal. He basically complained that you have to ask to need on an item like a BoE.

NOW I DON'T MEAN TO GO OFF ON A RANT HERE...

But wtf man? It's not like you were going to use it! Give it to someone who can! All you were gonna do is sell that shit, be a better person and help your fellow player out! It's called common courtesy. If you had been in Tooth's shoes you would have wanted it, so give it in return! You greedy little whiner. People like that piss me off so much.


Remember players, while making gold is good, being good to other players is better. Not only does it give you a warm happy feeling to help someone, if you have a good reputation people will want to group with you and your guild if you are in one. And that is your lesson for the day kids.

So you think you can write a preview

Yes, yes I do think I can. And I am. On my guild site at the request of my guildie, Grevan, I have started posting up what I have found out about our newest raid: Ulduar. Some people view this as a spoiler. Bullshit. I am not telling you the story behind it, I am helping you for when you have to go kill it. With me most likely. Knowing the basics behind a fight is not a spoiler, it is called researching. Which is always a great idea, especially since I happen to be the main heal of a raid team. As I have read more and more, I am getting more and more excited. I hope that this will be as great as I think it will be. But on a side note, I am gonna hate getting that legendary mace. I really, really am.

My First Post

This is not my first blog here, but I felt a second was needed. Why? Because I am an avid WoW player, but I can't really talk about it in my normal blog because most of my readers don't play WoW. So here is where I will talk about my life as Blizzard's slave and my crazy guild.

So which realms do you play? I started out on Kil'Jaden US but now I reside on Azshara US due to overcrowding.

What classes do you play? I play a heal priest, Kitkah (I like to consider myself an expert on Holy builds for priests since I have played Holy so long, but now I am trying out Disc) and a Death Knight Roseblood (One crack about death knights and I will hit you. I like mine thank you). I am currently working on a third toon, my shaman Chibigal.

My guild needs a heal, are you available? Sorry, I am property of Conclave of Shadows and have been upgraded from raid off-heal on Team 1 to main heal of our newly formed Team 3.

So I can't poach you from your guild? No. You can't.

So tell me about your guild. It's not mine per se, it belongs to the GM, Diviel. He is a little cranky, but I admire is ability to lead us so well. Our Raid Team Leaders are Diviel for Team 1, Faaron (formerly Garth) for Team 2. and Antina for Team 3. We are trying to get Malygos down at the moment, but Team 1 has Naxx on farm, Team 2 is almost there, and Team has not started their raids yet.

So what if I liked your guild and wanted to join? Do an application at our website at http://www.conclaveofshadows.wowstead.com/ and an officer will review it, then if you are what we are looking for we will take you on a Heroic run to see how you do. I believe we need spriests at the moment, maybe a tank and some dps.
